The Writer
I write. Songs mostly but I write poems too, though many do end up
straight-jacketed into
suitable
form to be song lyrics. Of the rest, many are too personal, too
much
'me at a time' for them to have any value beyond me. However,
here
are some examples of other efforts. You may judge for
yourself.

I have attempted to write a long enough story to be thought of as a
"book" on a number of occasions but as yet I've not managed to get much
past a few thousand words. I also wrote a play (which would probably be
better done on tv) and would maybe take up half an hour. Here I offer a
some writing on music (nicked from Nick Hornby's "31 Songs" idea -
though I insist I had a similar idea before I read Nick's book) and a
short story.
